Airfone India Launches Dual-SIM Handsets

JV Airfone India Private Limited, an emerging player in the telecom industry, has introduced its new range of mobile handsets. The latest range -- Flip 29i, AF 26 and AF 31 -- features dual-SIM facility, MP3 player and TF Card support in all models.
Flip 29i This new-generation mobile handset comes in dark grey colour with 1.3 megapixel digital camera, touch screen and dual-SIM connectivity. It also features an MP3 player, a video recorder and player, and a 2GB microSD car

d. This multi-feature model is priced at approx. Rs 4,999.
AF 26 This mobile comes in black colour with extra long battery life (upto 15 days standby) and expandable (up to 8 GB card support). It also includes music player, voice recorder, Bluetooth, speaker phone, VGA digital camera, 3 torch and GPRS support. It comes with a price tag of Rs 2,999.
AF 31 It offers a universal dual-SIM card which can be used in two ways i.e. GSM + GSM or GSM + CDMA with up to 16 GB microSD card support. It features VGA digital camera, audio/video recorder, torch, Bluetooth, GPRS support and stereo FM radio. Priced at Rs 4,999, this model comes in black colour.
Speaking at the launch, Vishal Chitkara, director, Airfone, commented, “Our aim is to become one of top five handset companies in India. Our plan is to ensure that Airfone is known throughout India as a value phone brand. We plan to cover at least 80 per cent of India by end of fiscal year 2009-10.”
