Facebook's New Look And A Happy 6th Birthday!

Facebook has unveiled a new homepage design to make it easier for users.

The times are changing at Facebook, the world's biggest social networking site. The changes will initially affect a small number of users, before being expanded more widely in the coming months. With this, users would be able to send messages to friends straight from the Facebook homepage, and won't have to open a separate window for the same. The search option has also been modified, reports TechCrunch.

Facebook has also tweaked its Live Feed and News Feed sections, through which users could see what their friends were doing at the moment. Now both have been fused into a single News Feed with a 'Most Recent' tab for live updates. A few navigation buttons have also been moved to the left-hand side of the homepage. The videos which are uploaded onto the social-networking site can now be seen under the 'Photos' section.
With more than 400 million users worldwide, Facebook is celebrating its sixth birthday. Its founder Mark Zuckerberg commented the site had made the world "more open and connected".
