The Adobe India Channel Partner Program seeks to cater to different types of resellers by using different membership criteria for resellers in three industry-based streams – Commercial, Government and Education as well as three membership levels – Platinum, Gold and Silver. The program will enable joint marketing activities and go-to-market initiatives with program members. Program members will have access to quarterly rebate programs and other incentives to boost their business growth.
Commenting on the announcement, Sandeep Mehrotra, Country Head – Sales (India), Adobe Systems, said, “We value our relationship with our channel community and continue to invest in their business as they contribute to Adobe’s success in India. This program is specially designed to equip resellers with the skills to better identify, develop and close market opportunities. It’s an educational and informative process where we closely work with resellers, allowing significant incremental revenue opportunities for both resellers and Adobe.”
In response to strong market demand from the Government, Commercial and Education segments, Adobe has restructured its business in India and set up dedicated divisions to meet the increasing demand for its solutions.
“Increasingly, organizations in the public and commercial sectors need to leverage the full power of the internet to engage with customers, share information and create valuable, relevant interactive experiences. Adobe’s creative and business solutions, with flagship products such as Photoshop and Acrobat, enable this goal,” said Mr. Mehrotra.
“Enabling resellers through a more structured training and certification process is a key element of Adobe’s Channel Partner Program,” said Shriram Krishnamachari, Head – Channels & Distribution (India and SAARC), Adobe Systems. “Pre-sales and sales training programs offer our resellers a sharper focus on how they can build a consultative approach to work with customers to select the right solution for their needs.”
Sunil Dalal, Founder & Managing Director, Softcell Technologies Limited, channel partner of Adobe in India expressed his enthusiasm for Adobe's new channel partner program, saying," We have always valued our long-standing relationship with a strong and creative company like Adobe. Adobe’s belief in growing together with their ecosystem by sharing knowledge and learning among partners as opposed to doling out freebies with only sales targets in mind is most encouraging".
We are looking forward to the challenge ahead of us and are excited at the opportunities that are going to open up with the new programs in place,” said Vipul Datta, CEO, Futuresoft Solutions Private Limited.
M. Prabhakar Kini Chairman & Managing Director, Kinfotech Private Limited, said “Increased access to Adobe products and resources will be a tremendous boost to the way we function. Training on Adobe products is a lot of fun and relevant too.”
Some of the benefits of the Adobe India Channel Partner Program include valued Adobe Certified Expert certification examination vouchers, participation in a deal registration program, pre-sales training by Adobe and a website exclusively for program members. Platinum and Gold program members will also have access to an Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro hosted account for hosting their web meetings and events.
