Wireshark 1.4.0 Doesn't Support Windows 2000
Wireshark, the popular network protocol analyzer, has released its version 1.4.0, which not only fixes several bugs found in previous versions, but also addresses various memory leaks in the application. The latest version features preliminary Python scripting support and the ability to play RTP streams directly from the RTP Analysis, reports The Open. Notably, version 1.4 no longer includes support for Windows 2000 systems. According to the developers, “Wireshark 1.4 does not support Windows 2000. Please use Wireshark 1.2 or 1.0 on those systems.”">
