None of the big telecom equipment makers, other than Samsung, have explored the world of projector phones so far. However, quite a few of our Indian companies have tried their hands on the projector phones and have been quite successful. We list down the projector phones that are available in India.
Intex V.Show
The first projector phone from Intex is the V.Show that uses tiny
Pico, the latest in LED technology. Users can project the file on to
any 91.4-cm (36-inch) screen for 3 hours. The projector has a run time of
20,000 hours and after it is over, the phone ceases to be a projector
and becomes only a regular phone. The Intex V.Show has an 8.1-cm
(3.2-inch) screen size, is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone and is 3G
enabled. The phone also sports front and rear cameras and has dual
memory card slots as well that can read up to 8 GB each.

Intex V.Show Mini
The second projector phone from Intex, Intex V.Show Mini theatre
has a 6.1-cm (2.4-inch) QVGA screen and a 2 MP camera. It is a dual SIM
phone. With the in-built projector, users can display not only films
and videos but also Office files like Power Point, Excel and so on. The phone has an internal memory of 87 MB but it is expandable up to
16 GB with a microSD card. It also comes pre-loaded with apps like Twitter,
Facebook and Opera Mini.

TechBerry ST 200
The TechBerry ST 200 projector phone is a quad band dual SIM
(GSM+GSM) phone. The phone has a dual camera as well as dual memory
card slots. It has a 8.9-cm (3.5-inch) full touchscreen with a 2 MP rear
camera and pre-loaded apps like Facebook and Skype. The projector
phone claims to offer a shaking control as well along with Bluetooth
2.0 and MP3 and MP4 support.

Spice PopKorn
The projector phone from Spice has been able to catch the
attention of plenty of people. With its innovative ad campaign, the
phone grabbed many eyeballs and became an instant hit. The Spice
M-9000 PopKorn phone has an in-built projector and is a dual SIM
phone. The phone also has an analogous TV that enables users to
stream free-to-air channels. It has a 3.2 MP camera, 6-cm
display screen, Bluetooth, FM with recording and video player. It comes with a tripod so that the users don't have to hold the
phone while projecting any file.

G'Five G5 Projector Phone
The G5 projector phone from
G'Five is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone. The phone sports a 6.1-cm (2.4-inch)
screen and unlike other phones in the category, it comes with a
proprietary all-in-one socket at the bottom. It has a 2 MP camera
without Flash and has links to quickly access Facebook, Twitter and
Yahoo!. It also comes preloaded with eBuddy messenger for IM. The projector
output of the phone is said to be good enough only up to a few feet
distance.

Samsung Halo i8520
The Samsung Halo i8520 is the only
projector phone which is a smartphone as well. It runs
Android 2.3 OS and has an in-built Pico projector. With a 9.4-cm
(3.7-inch) AMOLED touchscreen, the phone has an 8 MP rear camera for
video recording and a front camera for video calling, is 3G enabled
and has dual speakers for 3D sound effect. It features a 16 GB
internal memory and has a microSD card slot too. The phone is said to provide up to 470 minutes of talktime on 3G network.
