If Apple's latest smartphone iPhone 5 has failed to impress you, don't be disappointed. There are some Android alternatives in the market, which are better than the Apple's device. Apple may have worked hard in bringing iPhone 5 but it surely has missed out on creating something really cutting edge to beat Android. Android may hope to gain on this opportunity lost by Apple. Samsung Galaxy SIII

Samsung has created, what it calls a device 'designed for humans' with Samsung Galaxy SIII. This is Samsung's latest flagship device and comes with some attractive features. The smartphone weighs just 133g and is just 8.6mm thick. The screen size is 12.19-cm (4.8-inch) and will sport a resolution of 1280 x 720. Although, the device has been priced at Rs 43,180, there are online retail sites that are offering best prices that are as low as Rs 40,000. It runs Google's Android 4.0 and comes packed with TouchWiz. The others specs of the device include 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4212 processor, HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, 8MP camera with AF, LED flash, BSI sensor and 1080p HD video recording, 1.9MP front camera with a resolution of 720p for video chat, 16/32/64GB Internal memory, expandable upto 64GB, 1GB RAM, NFC, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GLONASS, micro-USB 2.0, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and 2100 mAh battery.



Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung Galaxy Nexus was the first device that came with Google's Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. The device was launched in the month of October last year. Samsung Galaxy Nexus runs Google's Android 4.0 and 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor. It comes packed with 1GB RAM and features a 11.8-cm (4.7-inch) 1280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED display. Other specs of the device include 5 Megapixel AF with LED Flash, 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera for video calling, 1080p Full HD video recording at 30fps, 1080p video playback at 30fps, Bluetooth 3.0,USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, 16GB or 32GB internal storage, HSPA 21Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps 850/900/1900/1700/2100, EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900, 3.5mm audio jack and 1,750mAh battery.



HTC One X

HTC One X is one of the most impressive devices launched by HTC. The fact that the smartphone will receive Android Jelly bean upgrade next month makes it even more attractive. This 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) smartphone sports super IPS LCD display, Tegra 3 quad core processor, 8MP rear camera, 1GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, which is not expandable due to unavailability of microSD card slot. In India, the handset is priced at Rs 35,999. Other specs of the device include Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, 8MP camera with AF, LED flash, BSI sensor and 1080p HD video recording, F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens, 1.3MP front camera with a resolution of 720p for video chat, 32GB Internal memory, 1GB RAM, Beats Audio, NFC, Wi-Fi, DLNA, micro-USB 2.0, HDMI and 1800 mAh battery.


HTC Evo 3D
HTC Evo 3D comes with 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) qHD display and can record videos in 3 dimensions and capture images as well in 3 dimensions. The 3D videos and images captured by the phone can be viewed without 3D glasses. It has 2 Cameras, the main camera is 5 MP with auto focus and it has inbuilt dual LED Flash, the Secondary or the Front Camera is 1.3 MP and it serves as webcam for video calling. The phone runs on Android with HTC Sense and 1.2 GHz, dual core. Other specs of the device include 1GBRAM and USB and Wi-Fi tethering, GPS, HDMI Out, DLNA, Digital Compass, 1730 mAh Battery which gives standby time of up to 358 Hours on GSM Mode.
