Top Seven, 7-Inch Android Tablets Under Rs 7,000

Here is a list of small size tablets that are available in the market.

Tablets galore! That is what everyone is talking about at moment and how true is it. Earlier there was only one size tablet to talk about i.e. 17.7-cm (7-inch). But now you have 20-cm (7.9-inch), 22.6-cm (8.9-inch), 25.4-cm (10-inch) ranged tablets as well. Talking about brands, you have Karbonn, Micromax, Zync, Byond, Kobian, Mitashi, Intex, iBall to name a few.

We bring you the top seven 17.7-cm (7-inch) sized tablets available under the price of Rs 7,000.

Karbonn Smart Tab 3: This latest tablet from Karbonn runs Android 4.0 aka Ice cream Sandwich OS. It sports 17.7-cm (7-inch) display and comes with 3D G-sensor for gaming experience. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. Other features like 3G via dongle, Wi-Fi are there. The tablet is backed up by a 2800 mAh battery. The Karbonn Smart Tab 3 is priced at Rs 4,968.

Byond Mi-Book Mi3:  The 17.7-cm (7-inch) tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A5 processor, supports 3D content, and comes bundled with a pair of 3D glasses. The device runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and has 1 GB RAM to support functioning. Other features include 2 MP rear camera and VGA shooter on the front for video calls. The tablet is 3G enabled, only via external dongle, as it has no SIM support. The slate comes preloaded with 3D games, plus productivity and entertainment apps. The Mi-Book Mi3 is available for Rs 6,100.

Mitashi Play: The Play sports a 17.7-cm (7-inch) capacitive five point TFT touch screen and is based on a 1 GHz processor along with 512 MB RAM and runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet is based on 1.2 GHz Cortex processor and Mali 400 GPU. The device sports a 2 MP rear camera along with a 1.3 MP front camera and the tablet is loaded with 3,000 mAh battery and 4 GB of internal memory. Mitashi Play BE 100 is priced at Rs 6,790.

Also, the tablet comes along with a KB100 keyboard at a price of Rs 1,299, which can convert the entire tablet into a laptop.

Mercury mTAB: This 17.7-cm (7-inch) device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor along with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB storage. The tablet comes with an in-built Wi-Fi along with support for 3G dongle and HDMI output. The tablet supports Adobe Flash 11.1 and mounts a 0.3 MP front camera for video chats. The mTAB7 comes at a price of Rs 6,499.

Intex I Buddy: The tablet has a 17.7-cm (7-inch) screen, runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich, supported by the latest Adobe Flash Player 11, and is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 core A13 processor. It is also embedded with 512 MB RAM. The Intex I Buddy 7.2 supports Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with a battery of 2,800mAh. Further, it also supports different operating systems. Zync Z-930: Zync has unveiled its latest tablet, Z-930, which runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and can be upgraded to Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean. The 17.7-cm (7-inch) tablet comes with a multi-touch LCD TFT capacitive screen with 800 x 480 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor with a Mali 400 GPU for advanced graphics. It is Wi-Fi enabled and comes with a 0.3 MP camera. It also offers an in-built 3G support via external dongles. The tablet is backed up by a 3600 mAh battery, offering long usage. Zync Z-930 comes loaded with a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB in-built memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB. The Zync Z-930 tablet is priced at Rs 5,499.

Micromax Infinity: The latest tablet from Micromax, Infinity is based on a Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 512 MB RAM. It runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and includes 4 GB internal memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB via external microSD card. The Infinity features 17.8-cm (7-inch) capacitive touch display and sports a 2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera for video calls and packs a powerful 4,000 mAh battery. Funbook Infinity P275 at a pocket friendly price of Rs 5,499.
