Wednesday, October 25, 2006:
New Delhi: Job search has gone vocal, at least for those looking for prospects in the BPO industry. TimesJobs.com has inked a strategic partnership with NowPos Online Services Pvt Ltd, a Hyderabad-based voice technologies products company, to launch TimesJobs Talkies -- a voice resume service, which is targeted at the BPO industry, to start with.
|
|
On TimesJobs Talkies, potential and existing BPO employees can `speak and record' their resumes, including answering a few typical questions and read a randomly system-chosen paragraph as part of their online resume.
"TimesJobs Talkies will cut recruitment cycles, reduce cost, time and manpower involved in recruitment and enable BPO companies to enter a straight third-round interview after the online shortlisting of CV. We are delighted to bring this unique and exclusive offering to the BPO industry, which will soon be part of our jobs fairs and virtual job fairs," said R Sundar, president, Times business solutions.
The entire technology of TimesJobs Talkies, developed by NowPos, resides on the TimesJobs.com portal.
"The partnership with TimesJobs.com creates several unique solutions for the sunrise BPO industry presently, and will be later extended to the entire HR industry, where CVs, first round short-listing and subsequent interviews, empowered by NowPos patent-applied voice technology, will change the way jobs are to be found, and people recruited," said Ayyappa Nagubandi, leader, NowPos.
TimesJobs Talkies was extensively beta-tested and is currently available on www.timesjobs.com. The product has already been demonstrated to 16 BPO firms.
