What could be termed as the first ever endeavour of its sort, Kool Homes are on their way to revolutionise the realty market with their latest project to construct Intelligent smart homes, that is underway in Pune. The project has been conceptualised by Dharmesh Gathani, director, Kool Homes and designed by world-renowned architects like Hafeez Contractor.

As per the project pioneers, the concept was initiated keeping in mind the IT industry in Pune, but the project is meeting with rave responses from the other quarters as well. Kool Homes plan to venture out in the other cities of the country very soon.
The concept that is slated to redefine housing in the country aims to incorporate the latest technology into amenities that enhance the living experience. Imagine how convenient it would get if one could cook even while outdoors through SMS, or could have a Juke Box at home to create an ambience as that of a restaurant. Also if safety aspect, while being in or away from home, could be taken care of with advanced home security gadgets, Kool Homes are all set to turn it in to reality.
The proposed array of features, that the Kool Homes will be equipped with, include video door phone (to scan visitors), digital main door lock with key-less entry, mood lighting that changes lighting to create ambience, a Kiosk with 3D view to control and monitor all electronic devices in the house, intrusion alarm with motion sensors, amongst others.
A list of other ultra modern amenities that the flats will be laced with include exhibition style modular kitchens, sensor taps, motorised curtain controls, dish washer, door closers, shower panels, surround sound provisions, electric chimney, laminated wooden flooring, gas hob etc.
The Kool Homes campus has also been designed with landscape architecture and will include amenities like Wi- Max for Internet, digital surveillance system, water treatment plant, energy conservation system, water harvesting facility, amphitheatre, half basketball court, senior citizen relaxing area, kids’ fun pool, laundromats and car wash with queuing facility, night lit building facades and landscapes with mood settings, well furnished and fully equipped clubhouse with gymnasium, steam, Jacuzzi, indoor games etc.
Ethix Software Solutions are the Kool Homes' technology partners. National Instruments, a US-based technology major which provides crucial technological assistance to NASA and automobile giants like Mercedes, amongst others, have also been roped in to collaborate.
The most interesting facet of the whole project, that may keep it within the reach of the masses is the pricing of the flats, which has been kept at par with the prevailing property rates in Pune i.e. within the range of Rs 3200 to Rs 3600 per square feet.
Gathani also affirmed that the residents would even be provided technical assistance through a dedicated call centre. The bookings for the Kool Homes flats are already underway.
