Wipro PCs To Come Laced With Unistal's Security Pack
 
The security pack comprises of five technologically innovative Unistal products to ensure data security for Wipro PC users.

Friday, August 03, 2007 Unistal Systems Pvt Ltd has partnered with Wipro to pack their 5-in-1 technologically innovative products, to ensure data-security on Wipro desktops as well as notebooks. The pack that comprises of five Unistal products including Crash Proof, Unistal-Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Restore, PC Reporter and Data Wipe, will be installed at OEM level onto every Wipro PC.

Unistal's Crash Proof is a data recovery software that can recover the accidentally deleted files, missing files and even lost files that have been fragmented -- this software is claimed to have a success rate of 100 per cent.




Kaspersky Anti-Virus, the second product in the pack, is a scan engine which monitors all sources of potential virus infection on Wipro PCs.

Unistal's Restore has been included to address the situation when the OS or the application fails. Restore automatically takes regular images of the system and restores the system with the latest settings and data in non-destructive manner at the touch of a button. PC Reporter, the fourth product in the pack, gives the users a pre-failure warnings and alerts the users as and when the hard disk begins to show some early pre-failure signs.

Data Wipe is a multi-featured software that allows users the option to select files, folders, drives, unused area, Internet history etc, which they need to wipe out.

Ashutosh Vaidya, vice president, personal computing products, Wipro, affirmed that the company wanted to address the need of every PC user to have an effective data care, recovery and restoration mechanisms in place. He further added that the partnering with Unistal is an initiative that aims at providing the user with pre-warnings, protection against virus infections and an effective data wipe out policy.

Alok Gupta, director, marketing, Unistal Systems Pvt Ltd, feels that more than a value addition, Unistal's 5-in-1 security pack is a PC essential. "Since we have all of the afore-mentioned products and solutions in our diverse portfolio, we have devised this special integrated combo package for Wipro PCs which makes them the most secure personal computers in the industry."
