QAI Launches Edista Testing Institute

Under the 'Edista' brand, QAI has announced a series of education, testing and certification initiatives -- EdistaLearning, Edista Testing Institute and EdistaCertifications. EdistaLearning is an online curriculum and Edista Testing Institute is an initiative in the software testing sphere. Whereas EdistaCertifications is a skills assessments and measurements initiative, targeted at both the corporate and the retail sectors. "Edista means ‘to facilitate’ and today the call of the hour is to facilitate learning," said Navyug Mohnot, CEO, QAI.

EdistaLearning facilitates knowledge, competence and skill creation in the areas of software engineering and quality management with over 45 courses under 13 domains. The course contents are created along with international gurus such as Dr Roger S. Pressman, Bruce Schoor, Steve Bender, etc.
The EdistaLearning online courses are Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 1.2 and 2.4 compliant. They can be delivered both through the Internet, using a Learning Management System (LMS) and Intranet. The courses can easily be integrated with any SCORM-compliant LMS.
Edista Testing Institute is set up by QAI as an independent industry – academia collaborative venture, with the focus on training, certifications and assessments in the field of software testing. The institute is designed to operate as a global institute for software testing excellence in the ecosystem.
QAI's EdistaCertifications is targeted at providing a standardised system of assessments to augment the e-learning and testing training initiatives. EdistaCertifications has developed a new Certified Software Quantitative Process Engineer and several others are slated for launch this year.
