The company plans to add service capability related to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) from its operations in India. This represents a new competency that it has added as a result of its recently announced acquisition of OKERE, Inc., a New York city-based consulting and IT services company that serves enterprise-scale clients with CRM solutions based on SaaS delivery model.
The new centre has approximately 10,0000 sq. ft of office space with a capacity to accomodate upto 1,200 staff. The center will enable the company to respond to increased demand for software application development and implementations, quality assurance and sales support services for clients in India, the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and other Asia Pacific markets. With the addition of this new facility in Noida, the company now has more than 220,000 sq. ft of office space in four locations throughout the country with plans for an additional 100,000 sq. ft over the next 12 months.
While talking about the new facility, John T Rose, president and CEO, Fujitsu Consulting, said, "The opening of this new office will substantially improve our ability to deliver industry -leading services to clients anywhere in the world. We will also be able to attract top talent from amongst a large pool of well qualified software professionals offering interesting and challenging work, advanced career development and a great working environment. The new Noida facility now gives us the enhanced opportunity to attract the required talent within Northern region and support our global clients."
