Finder Group, a US-based company that offers solutions for job seekers and employers in the IT consulting field, has launched four websites viz. www.h1bfinder.com, www.c2cfinder.com, www.finditrecruiters.com and www.techresourcefinder.com. www.h1bfinder.com will provide information of H1B visa sponsorship and related jobs in the USA and vice versa, and help H1B visa sponsoring companies to find the right candidates amongst those launched. By 2008, the sites aim to have about 25,000 thousand users with them.

Speaking on the launch, R. Damodar Reddy, minister for IT and communications, govt. of AP, said that the IT sector in the state is shaping up nicely. He said that the exports from Andhra Pradesh are more than Rs 18,500 crores which is more than 14 per cent of the total national IT growth rate since the last three years. He disclosed that the state government is also contemplating to sanction SEZs to SMEs also to promote small and medium firms. The state government is committed to support in all possible means to encourage the IT industry to consolidate and also create lot more jobs to the professionals. Reddy added, "The State of New Jersey has highest number of IT consulting companies in USA. Hyderabad has been the headquarters for all IT consulting companies back offices and has the highest number of recruiters working for US companies. India, especially Hyderabad, has the highest number of recruiters, and the highest number of H1B numbers than any other city across the globe are used from Hyderabad. Almost 80 per cent of H1B quota is used by Indian nationals."
