PeopleTech To Distribute Sangoma's Products In India

Sangoma Technologies Corporation, a provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products, has made up its mind to distribute its premium telephony and data cards throughout India. The company has partnered with PeopleTech, a provider of open source technology services and solutions, for the latter to provide a sales channel and first line of support for Sangoma's Indian customers.

"Sangoma's PCI cards are regarded as the most reliable in the industry, and together, we will be able to provide a product line that is robust, proven and able to provide cost-effective solutions for the Indian market, an area where open source technology is in high demand," said G Imthiyaz Ahmed, chief executive officer, PeopleTech.
"India is a fast-growing market for VoIP applications and we expect to be part of that significant expansion," added David Mandelstam, president and chief executive officer, Sangoma. "Together our objective is to build a strong customer base that will help us to serve the Indian market like no other vendor in this region."
