MindTree Clinches Nasscom Innovation Award 2007

The award recognises organisations that come up with new ideas, products, processes or technologies that create business impact.

MindTree Consulting Ltd, an IT company based out of Bengaluru, has won the Nasscom Innovation Award 2007 for knowledge management (KM). According to the company, the key thrust areas of KM in MindTree were innovation, collaboration and reuse, where the ecosystem allows acceleration in innovative processes within any organisation.

"The honour recognises the ecosystem we have built in MindTree," Ashok Soota, consulting chairman and managing director, MindTree Consulting.
Elaborating on the company's KM, Raj Datta, consulting vice-president, MindTree, said, "The knowledge ecosystem strengthens four spaces within which the system consumes and produces knowledge vis-a-vis physical, virtual, social and mind space."
The award comes on the heels of MindTree being declared the overall winner and most admired knowledge enterprise in the Indian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) study conducted by Teleos Leadership Institute and the Know Network in 2007.
