IBM has announced the winners of its annual IBM Beacon Awards competition, recognising IBM Business Partners for outstanding delivery of value to clients and innovative approaches to solving business issues. Winners were selected in 37 award categories by leading industry journalists, analysts and IBM executives. There were three Indian firms amongst the winners. Under sales and distribution category, MindTree Consulting Ltd was recognised for Overall Technical Excellence, Asia Pacific. Global Groupware Solutions Ltd, Gurgaon, India was amongst the winners for Software as a Service (SaaS) Innovation. Ontrack Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mumbai bagged the award for Regional Consultant and System Integrator - Outstanding Integrated Solution, Asia Pacific.
The IBM Beacon Awards are an important part of IBM's PartnerWorld programme, providing industry recognition, increased visibility and promotional opportunities to winners and finalists.

Chosen from over 725 nominations, winners and finalists from around the world will be honoured at the IBM Business Partner Leadership Conference, Los Angeles, to be held between 30 April and 2 May 2008.
