More than 800 organisations across Asia Pacific have adopted components of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) software, said Oracle, to transform how they manage, interact with and utilise financial and operational information to drive insights into better business results.

Oracle Business Intelligence is a portfolio of technology and applications that provides end-to-end Enterprise Performance Management System, including performance management applications, BI applications, BI foundation and tools, and data warehousing.
"The continued industry recognition and customer adoption of Oracle's EPM System and BI solutions solidifies the need for a centralised performance management system that spans both finance and operations," said George Varghese, general manager, Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence, Oracle India.
In fiscal year 2008, many organisations across Asia Pacific have purchased components of Oracle's Enterprise Performance Management System and Business Intelligence, which also includes Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd and Vedanta Resources plc from India.
