Nominations Open For Best Of WiMAX World 2008

Trendsmedia has announced the call for nominations for the 'Best of WiMAX World USA 2008 Awards'. The annual awards recognise leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX networks, with nominations being open to all WiMAX World 2008 event exhibitors and sponsors. The winners will be recognised at the 'WiMAX World 2008' conference, scheduled between 30 September and 2 October 2008.
Eliot Weinman, conference founder and co-chair, and president, Trendsmedia, said, "The breadth of this year's award programme acknowledges the significant contributions made by innovators in the WiMAX industry.

It provides an excellent opportunity for leaders to be recognised by an independent award committee as well as peers in the industry."
The awards will be given in the following categories: system design, service provider deployment, chip design, devices/peripherals/application software, industry innovation and industry choice. The final selection of winners and industry choice nominees will be made by an independent panel of experts in the WiMAX market. The industry choice award winner will be voted on by attendees of the WiMAX World 2008 event.
