India's start-up event, Proto.in will be held in IIT Delhi, from 18 July to 19 July 2008. The fourth edition of the event will witness an amalgamation of the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem. Being a platform for start-ups, Proto.in's mission is also to aide start-ups get the required push, recognition, and limelight.
At the event, the 15 startups will share the stage to discuss their business plans, demonstrate their prototypes, and launch their products.

This edition has all new Fastrack Sessions on day one, where the best of the experienced entrepreneurs, businesses, and professionals share their experiences with the young entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs. Proto.in also intends to bring together such entrepreneurs who have changed the face of the nation and such who intend to.
The theme, during Fastrack Sessions, discussed will be: 'Building products people want. Pricing them according to measures of need, demand and affordability. And most of how do sell your product to be it customers or enterprises and make money. Call it art, or call it science. We'd like to unveil that myth for good'.
The event will also be represented by over 30 venture capital firms across the globe including NASSCOM's India Innovation Fund, NEA Indo US Ventures, Matrix Partners, Erasmic Ventures, Nexus Capital, Band of Angels, Mumbai Angels, Canaan Partners, Sequoia Capital, Charles River Venture to name a few.
The event will also allow the audience to interact with each other, via quizzes, contests, etc.
