Bengaluru Houses Logica's New Spark Innovation Centre

Logica recently launched the second in a series of Spark Innovation Centres in Bengaluru, India. The centre in India focusses on mobility solutions of the future in the areas of intelligent transportation, wireless monitoring of vehicle emissions, vehicle insurance and targeted interactive advertising solutions. Focussed around mobility, the centre will demonstrate to customers the company’s innovative abilities and solutions.

Inaugurating the centre, Andy Green, chief executive, Logica, said, “Logica’s Spark Innovation centres enable us to work in partnership with customers to create ideas for the future that will directly impact their bottom line. Mobility solutions are increasingly important and a focus area for almost every industry. Innovation in thinking, solutions and partnerships will ensure that our customers build and maintain a competitive advantage.”
The first centre was launched in May 2008 in Lisbon around the theme of energy and utilities. A third innovation centre will shortly be launched in Amstelveen and will focus on ‘payments’ with more centres planned in the months ahead. In addition to working with customers, Logica will work with renowned universities around the globe to complete the collaboration cycle between industry and academia.
