OMG Forays Into India In Partnership With QAI  
 
QAI named the official OMG Certification Program representative in India.

Monday, November 03, 2008 The Object Management Group (OMG) has entered into the Indian market in partnership with QAI. OMG has chosen QAI as its official OMG Certification Program representative in India. QAI will provide marketing and customer support to individuals and organisations interested in all the three certification programmes of OMG- OCUP (OMG Certified UML Professional, OCRES (OMG Certified Real-time and Embedded Specialist) and forthcoming OCEB (OMG-Certified Expert in BPM).





The OMG Certifications provide an objective indication, of a person’s knowledge of UML, OMG’s unified modelling Language; test a person’s knowledge of real-time and embedded systems software standards, business process management and business process modelling. QAI, through its Software Certifications division, has already certified over 28,000 IT professionals in India.

"India has one of the fastest growing technology economies in the world, and we expect that there will be great demand for certification in UML modelling, real-time and embedded systems and business process management."

This partnership will be mutually beneficial for OMG and QAI. The strong foothold of QAI in India would ensure a good reach in the IT, BPO and other knowledge-centric sectors for OMG.
