TAKE Solutions, an international business technology company, has announced that its Life Sciences division has released PharmaReady Version 4.1. The new version offers new enhancements to its fully integrated, Web-based suite of products.

The latest PharmaReady 4.1 release features Document Management System (DMS) which includes virtual document workflow and interface enhancements, enhanced Office 2007 integration and support, and document owner functionality and role; Electronic Submissions (eCTD) which include eCTD enhanced support for Canadian STF submissions, increased eCTD support for STF sub-structures, enhanced Acrobat support, eCTD submission compile time decrease and enhancements, and support for updated eCTD guidance from FDA; Training Records Management System (TRMS) which includes option to add TRMS events directly to outlook calendar and enhanced action item processing; Structured Product Labelling (SPL) -- workflow notifications can be turned off/on and updated scripts better support FDA guidelines.
In 2003, PharmaReady was first introduced as an FDA-compliant Document Management System in conjunction with Microsoft Corporation at the annual DIA Meeting in Washington, D.C.
“From the beginning, PharmaReady was specifically designed for the regulated life sciences industry. Five years and scores of satisfied customers later, our focus still remains the same,” states Robert MacDougall, executive vice president, TAKE Solutions.
The newest version of PharmaReady is currently being implemented by INC Research, a global clinical research organisation based in Raleigh, NC; Trace Life Sciences, a supplier of medical isotopes based in Denton, TX; Dermal Laboratories, a dermatological research, development and marketing company based in the UK; and AbCRO, a clinical research organisation based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
