Cyberstar In Distribution Pact With BA Systems

BA Systems and Cyberstar come together to offer cost-effective, next-generation managed routers for Indian customers.

Cyberstar Infocom Pvt Ltd has entered into a distribution arrangement with BA Systems. BA Systems offers enterprises an efficient alternative to endless box buying with a one-stop connectivity solution for complex networks.

“BA Systems and Cyberstar are combining strengths to offer cost-effective, next-generation managed routers for Indian customers. BA Systems, which has its own IP technology and R&D centre in Bengaluru and a contract manufacturing centre in Chennai and Bengaluru, has tied up with Cyberstar, the value added networking product distribution company to sell and support BA products,” said B Jagadish, director, marketing, BA Systems.
Jagadish continued, “Cyberstar brings to this relationship the much needed sales and business development strength and the required physical presence and geographical coverage over 25 locations in India. This covers the prime tier I, II and III cities. Cyberstar as a distributor and BA Systems as a technology product manufacturer, acknowledge that there exists significant need for SME managed routers at core, access and edge levels.”
Jagadish also added, “BA Systems and Cyberstar are challengers for incumbents and the right alternate for India SME customers. We intend to achieve a market share of 10 per cent in the next 24 months in the managed router space.”
Raj Rathi, while speaking on the alliance with BA Systems, said, “We will help pitch in the SME segment to bring in the cost-effective solutions through this alliance. Cyberstar with its national reach, financial strength and efficient logistics, will be able to add value to the products.”
