Intex Technologies (India) Ltd has announced launched two new handsets -- IN 5000 and IN 5040. With IN 5000, the company makes an entry into the GSM touch-screen mobile phone segment. IN 5040 has a 2-inch TFT touch screen that, according to the company, offers a crisp and clear medium to operate the phone and flip through the various functions.

IN 5000 also features FM radio, mobile tracker, camera, expandable memory up to 2GB, GPRS, Bluetooth, audio and video player and a 1000 contacts phonebook memory. The phone is available at Rs 5,000. INTEX IN 5040 is the (GSM+CDMA) dual SIM phone. This camera phone boasts Bluetooth with A2DP (new technology for enjoying music through Bluetooth), FM radio, USB PC connectivity, expandable memory, audio and video player and a 1000 contacts phonebook memory. The price tag of the phone is Rs 5,500.
