Israel-based FTK Technologies, a provider of a vernacular computing experience in 10 Indian languages through its software product - LooKeys, has launched its special version for the E-Governance applications. LooKeys-E-Gov version will be available in two versions: Standard (without webcam and simulated hands feature) and Professional (with webcam and simulated hands feature).

Besides the predictive dynamic virtual keyboard interface, this special E-Gov LooKeys product shall also provide an interface for expert users proficient in Hindi typewriter, said the company.
Speaking on the occasion, Neeloy Roy Chowdhury, vice president, marketing and sales, FTK Technologies, said, "We understand the specific needs of the various end-user segments in India who need to do basic computing in Indian languages. LooKeys-E Gov Version takes into consideration the specific requirement and skillsets of the users in the government departments and ministries, who will now be able to use the application very efficiently and quickly."
"Very shortly, we shall also be coming up with new versions for other verticals including the touch-screen and the translation segments, which shall further enable a very easy-to-use and personalised experience for our esteemed users in these verticals," added Chowdhury.
LooKeys E-Gov Standard version costs Rs 2,099 per license, and LooKeys E-Gov Professional version is priced at Rs 2940 per license (including webcam).
