Airtel has launched Value Magic recharges for its customers in Karnataka. These recharges have been designed taking into account the usage patterns of three key segments of users – youth, rural and urban users - in denominations of Rs 149, Rs 249 and Rs 398, respectively. With these recharges, Airtel customers can call any local Airtel mobile at 50 paise per minute and also get one year validity.

The Rs 149 recharge designed for youth, comes with a talk time of Rs 50, offers local SMS at 2 paise each, community calling at 30 paise per minute, calls to local Airtel mobiles at 50 paise per minute, calls to other local mobiles at 60 paise per minute and national SMS at Rs 1.50 each. In this recharge, the first minute of the first call will be charged at Re 1 every day.
The Rs 249 recharge designed for rural customers, comes with a talk time of Rs 100, offers local SMS at 25 paise each, calls to local Airtel mobiles at 50 paise per minute, calls to other local mobiles at 60 paise per minute and national SMS at 50 paise each.
The Rs 398 recharge designed for urban customers, comes with a talk time of Rs 250, offers calls to local Airtel mobiles at 20 paise per minute between 11:00 pm to 6:00 am and 50 paise per minute between 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Calls to other local mobiles will be charged at 50 paise per minute, local SMS at 50 paise each and national SMS at Re 1 each.
Announcing the new offer, Venkatesh V, CEO, mobile services, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Karnataka, said, "Airtel, with the largest network and innovative products, has led the mobile penetration in Karnataka. Our team has custom-made these recharge packs after closely studying the usage patterns of our different segments of customers. Airtel is now pleased to offer them such unbeatable value. We are sure they will see tremendous value in these offerings."
Airtel has also launched Value Magic Booster packs consisting of specially created packages for STD, local calls and SMS. With these 'Value Magic Boosters' recharges, Airtel customers can now enjoy STD calls at 80 paise per minute.
Three STD Booster packs with MRPs of Rs 39, Rs 59 and Rs 160 offer talk time worth Rs 65, Rs 110 and Rs 300, respectively wth validity ranging from seven days to 30 days. The local call Booster packs with an MRP of Rs 11 offer 25 minutes of local Airtel calls (one day validity), while the pack with MRP of Rs 195 offers 450 minutes of local Airtel calls (30 day validity).
The SMS Booster packs priced at Rs 18, Rs 33 and Rs 40 offer from 100 to 1,000 SMS per day, with validity periods ranging from 10 days to 30 days.
