Tata DoCoMo Plans To Double Investment In Karnataka

Tata DoCoMo, the telecom arm of Tata Teleservices on the GSM platform, plans to double its investment in Karnataka from the $150 million invested so far (from July to October) to $300 million by March 2010. Business Standard quoted Yatish Mehrotra, south head, Tata DoCoMo as saying, "This additional investment of $150 million in the next three months will be towards improving our infrastructure and expanding our capacity and network." The company has so far launched its service in 18 circles across India.  Click here to read the full story
