Founded in 2005, RockeTalk is basically into mobile phone client applications that help people stay in touch through the medium of technology. It helps users become part of communities and chat groups, and enables them to share videos and photos for easier and faster comunication.
And this year they've taken their venture one step further by launching Holi cards imbued with Rocketalk's unique apps- on your mobiles!
"We're well aware that people have no time to pick paper cards these days", explains Rajiv Kumar, CEO, Rocketalk. "Since it is much more convenient to stay connected in the digital domain, we've launched mobile apps so people can easily stay in touch with their friends and families. With this unique app, people would be able to personalise their messages, and even add their voices, which can then be sent through video. Imagine sending pictures of yourself playing holi to your friends and family with the click of a button! And all this free of cost! In fact your friends don't even need to have any special apps on their mobiles to receive your message."
In a country like India, where there is a festival every few months, Rocketalk's apps is proving to be the proverbial manna from heaven for cellphone owners who wish to share photos or streaming videos! Come to think of it, Holi is not the first time Rocketalk inroduced this apps. "We had launched this apps on Valentine's Day this year-for the first time. The response was overwhelming and we decided to launch it during other festivals also," elucidates Kumar. "This service is more like a small interactive radio- everything instantly! In India, we have over one million users and the number is expected to grow in the coming years. In fact our apps is also being used in other countries, like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and even the United Kingdom. We are now looking at other festivals, like Diwali, to launch other such apps for the benefit of mobile phone users."
