International Newsroom Summit will be held on 21 and 22 April 2010 in London. Some of the world's leading Publishers, CEOs, chief editors, managing editors and other senior newsroom personnel will gather to exchange ideas and get inspiration to help them take today's newsrooms to the next level.

Conference sessions will focus on issues such as multi-title newsrooms, innovative publishing, paid content, social media and audience engagement, multimedia newsrooms, 'finger food' content for smartphones, innovative story telling and more.
"Clearly, the growing importance of 'virtual' communities, such as Facebook, are redefining how people socialize and share information. The growth of permanent, mobile, broadband and wireless connections point to the expanding use of mobile phones and other devices. And these developments make is easier for news consumer to personalize the content they receive," said Dietmar Schantin, executive director for publishing, editorial, and general management at WAN-IFRA.
