For people who think office work is a drag, it's time to rejoice ( No, bosses are not being phased out through technology!). It has emerged that four programmers from the Netherlands have devised a solution that allows workers to play computer games online, which are disguised as Word and Excel spreadsheets!

For instance, a game called Leadership involves the player to steer a space ship between two lines of a graph. Another involves dismantling similar-coloured blocks before a wall of bar charts fills the screen. A third game, called Breakdown, patterned after the Atari classic Breakout, has bricks replaced by boring corporate text. Words in bold and italics must be punched twice to disappear, says The Telegraph.
All these Flash games, can be played at the website CantYouSeeImBusy.com. It is estimated that the games have already cost the world economy more than €4.5m in lost man hours. Says a blurb on the website: "Let’s face it; we all want to relax every now and then, but still want to appear professional or busy. That’s why all the games at CantYouSeeImBusy.com are designed in a way that nobody can see that you’re gaming. In fact, your boss and colleagues will think that you’re working harder than ever before."
