RS Electronics offer electronic liquid level controller for making the automation of pumpset. This is suitable for conductive and non-conducive liquids. However the choice of level sensing probes put the limitation. Whenever the water level in overhead tank falls below the set low level, the device operated the pumpset and it stops the pumpset when the water level rises to the above set level.

This is also used for underground tank ( Reservoir). In such case the water level fall below the set low level the device does not permit to operate the pump. It allows pumping when the water level in the reservoir rises to the set high level and thereafter fill the water level in the underground tank, must be set above the foot valve to avoid dry running of the motor.
Using this will avoid overflow of water, dry running, saving electrical energy, avoid burning against low voltages & single phasing and no need for manpower. These are available for single phase as well as three phase motor pump set. This can be used in housing colony, hotel, bungalows, industries, wherever you need automatic operation. Level controller other than water application is also available.
