Samsung Confirms Android Tablet For Q3 Launch

Joining global firms like Nokia, LG and HP seeking to beat back advances by Apple, Samsung Electronics will launch its Android-powered tablet PC this quarter. As reported by Reuters, Samsung said its tablets would feature a 17.7-cm (7-inch) display, smaller than the 24.6-cm (9.7-inch) screen on the iPad, which has sold more than 3 million units since its April launch.
