All Paid UbiSlate7+ Pre-bookings Are In Priority: DataWind

Here comes the official confirmation regarding the delivery status of paid and unpaid pre-booked DataWind UbiSlate7+ tablets in India.

For all those getting restless after pre-booking DataWind's UbiSlate7+ device earlier, either paid or unpaid, have a good news to share. The countdown for the delivery of your device has now begun! DataWind has confirmed EFYTimes that very soon UbiSlate7+ will be shipped, on priority basis, first to the paid pre-books and then gradually to the unpaid bookings, once the device gets launched officially in a couple of weeks.
"All the paid pre-bookings are in priority, and will receive units within the time-frame promised (within 6 weeks of payment) – we're two weeks behind for the first deliveries, and those will be caught-up by end of April, affirmed Suneet Singh Tuli, president and CEO, DataWind. On this latest development, we had earlier reported that the much awaited DataWind UbiSlate7+ is all set to arrive this month and Government of India's Aakash 2 may get released officially by early May.

When asked about the delivery status of the unpaid pre-booked UbiSlate7+, Tuli replied, "For unpaid pre-bookings, updates will be provided once we launch in a couple of weeks." On further probing him about the customers' complaints who are waiting with their order ID and are not getting any response from the company on the delivery status, he said, "For the small percentage that are paid pre-bookings, those customers are provided a special e-mail address and phone number for updates," he replied.
"UbiSlate7+ production will be first used to fulfill pre-bookings, and is not expected to be available through brick and mortar retail outlets for a few months (exact time frame is not yet confirmed – it depends on the pre-bookings)," he further informed us about the availability of the device in the coming days.

they only say we apologize for not delivery since march 2012 from oct-12 message is your order in process for dispatch yet nor recd.no management no policy

No paid pre-bookings are provided with phone number for updates & a special e-mail address i.e. payment@datawind is not supposed to reply perhaps.
Even I paid them for prioritized delivery and got confirmation that I'll get device by May 31st. But they never provided me with any special e-mail or phone numbers...
