Recently, Twitter announced updates for its mobile app for Android and iOS. With the help of these updates, apps get a transformation, which includes new features like an improved Discover tab, a much better search support and push notifications for interactions.
The company has been struggling hard to satisfy its users by offering improvements to discover, search and notifications options, allowing users to check updates. These new notifications allow you to know when somebody follows you, retweets you or marks any of your tweet as favourite.

The connect tab has made the search much more easier, enabling users to find their friends by just typing the first or may be the last name of the person you are searching for. This option will automatically give you the results at once.
Also, the notifications being in one place allow users to at once know when the tweet has been retweeted or marked as favourite.
