If you are looking to buy a good mid-range Android smartphone, here’s one for you. Sony Xperia U is now available for pre-order in India at the price of Rs 17,399. The device can be booked from Letsbuy.com and is also listed on Flipkart at the price of Rs 16,499.
The smartphone was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress. This handset is a part of the Xperia NXT series, which the company touts as 'cornerstone' of its connected experience. The technology enables the customers to enjoy sharing content on any screen of their choice, be it the smartphone, TV, laptop or tablet. The company flaunts the intriguing design features of the smartphones that have transparent element too. This transparent element is a band found on the base of the phone, which integrates invisible antenna components of the device.

Sony Xperia U features a 8.9-cm (3.5-inch) Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA engine and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Other specs of the smartphone include 5MP rear camera with 720p HD recording, 1GHz dual core processor, 2D and 3D panoramic images capture capability and xLoud and 3D surround sound audio technology. The smartphone will be available in white or black. It will also have pink and yellow exchangeable caps for the base of the smartphone in the box.
Xperia U is equipped with Bluetooth technology for transferring the files freely between the compatible devices. Wi-Fi and Hot-Spot technology helps you to connect wirelessly to the Internet to attain information and required news.
