Bharatico BPO is coming up with academies for teaching BPO curriculum across the country. Bharatico is coming up with its first BPO facility in Sahibabad, which will be a 4000-seater BPO, where they plan to merge talent from its academy. The company has plans to follow a similar model in other cities as well.

Speaking exclusively to EFYTimes.com, Manan Vashisht, senior vice president, Bharatico BPO said, "One of the major issues that any BPO company faces while moving to Tier II and Tier III towns in India is lack of talent. Whatever talent is present in the smaller cities migrates to Tier I cities to get job opportunities. So, with this initiative, we are trying to fill the gap of lack of talent and also giving companies an opportunity to look for expansion opportunities in Tier II and Tier III towns as well."
The fact that Tier I cities are getting saturated and rather expensive, the time is not far when Tier II and Tier III cities will emerge as an important option for the BPO industry. Vashisht says, "With such an initiative, we can reduce the attrition rate in the industry too. People from small cities come to the Tier I towns and go back which is one of the main reasons of attrition in the BPO industry. People are not happy with this kind of scenario. If it is a night shift job, ladies do not feel safe. What we are trying to do is we will go to the smaller cities. We will train the talented individuals there. There is a push-up theory which works in the industry where they say small cities to big cities. We want to apply the pull-back theory, which is the reverse of the push-back theory. This is a holistic model."
Bharatico is planning a BPO facility in all the places that it will have academies in, to ensure all talented people, who undergo the training are placed. Vashisht said, “We will teach anything and everything related with BPO industry. There would be both short term courses and long term courses varying from three months to one year.”
