Monday, June 25, 2012: The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 has come in the US market and is available at the Best Buy page now at a price of $599.99. Nothing specific is mentioned about the availability or shipping date yet.

The Wi-Fi only 64GB version is included in this offer. The USP of this tablet is that it has a 1920x1200 Full HD display with 600 nits of brightness and wide viewing angles as it is an IPS-LCD screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

The tablet features a quad-core Tegra 3 clocked at 1.6GHz with 1GB of RAM. The premium tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with two 1.5GHz Krait cores. The Wi-Fi-only version will be shipped with Tegra 3, whereas the 3G/4G variants are the ones with the Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon, where buyers will have the LTE option as well.

It sports a new 8 MP rear camera with 5-element lens and 2MP front camera for video chat. Media connection is handled by an HDMI port, and the tablet includes the ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, which is supposed to make the sound output crystal clear.
