Tata DOCOMO Introduces New 3G Data Packs With Benefits Manifold

Wednesday, July 04, 2012 Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, today announced introduction of new and attractive 3G data prepaid packs at delightfully affordable prices and a reduction of almost 89% in prices for customers in Karnataka.






Tata DOCOMO’s lowest data pack now costs Rs 5/- that offers 50MB of data download for browsing high speed internet. It now offers more MB on data packs, for instance on a recharge of Rs 22, prepay customers will now get 150 MB of data download as against their earlier entitlement of 25MB. From earlier charge where customers were paying 84 paise per MB which would now cost only 15 paise per MB, this essentially means 83% reduction!!

Tata DOCOMO’s 3G services deliver richer experience at blazing speeds. Tata DOCOMO has been leveraging the full potential of 3G in India combining the technological supremacy of NTT DOCOMO, who are considered to be leaders in 3G.

Announcing the new 3G data prepaid packs, Mr. A P Sriram, Chief Operating Officer, Tata DOCOMO, Karnataka circle, said “We have ensured that 3G is now available to all consumers with the newly launched 3G Data pack priced at Rs. 5 for 50 MB. This simple change has effectively removed the artificial price barriers to 3G and truly, 3G is now available at 2G prices. Keeping the focus on the user experience Tata DOCOMO’s new 3G data prepaid plans are affordable, simple and cater to the various needs of our customers.”

The new plans come with the promise of ‘BIGGER and BETTER’ at old prices and shall cater to the impulse need for speed on data. Customers can now simply recharge with the new Rs. 5 for 50 MB Validity till Midnight, to enjoy the world of 3G. Customers can choose from three new 3G prepaid data packs. These packs start from Rs. 5 for 50 MB, Rs 22 for 150 MB valid for 3 days, Rs. 39 for 150 MB data usage for 7days and Rs. 90 for 300MB data usage for 30 days.

Prepay customers having a high internet usage but are cost conscious can opt from any of these packs of Rs 255 and Rs 351 that offers 1GB and 1.5GB bundled data respectively valid for 30 days.

With the introduction of these data packs on 3G platform, Tata DOCOMO customers can now enjoy uninterrupted, high speed internet access which is also easy on their wallets. Tata DOCOMO has reinforced its position as pioneer in introducing innovative value for money offers through these new data packs.
