SWIPE Telecom Introduces India’s First 3D Tablet

California-headquartered SWIPE Telecom, a technology start-up backed by Mantra Venture and incubated on the foundations of innovation today announced the launch of slew of cutting-edge Tablet PCs for the Indian market addressing latent as well as pent up demand for Tablet PCs in urban, semi-urban and rural India.

SWIPE Telecom today introduced India’s first 3D Tablet PC, called 3D LIFE. The vastly innovative 3D LIFE was launched by none other than Bollywood heartthrob Malaika Arora Khan at a glittering press conference held in Mumbai.
The cutting-edge 3D LIFE targeted towards kids and youth provides breathtaking experience of 3D gaming and 3D videosfor its users and runs on the Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system. It boasts of a 7" TFT Five Point Touch Capacitive screen packing 800x480 pixels. Under the hood, 3D LIFEis powered on an A13 Cortex processor on a blistering1.5GHZ clock speed, 4GB internal memory and a 512 MB DD RAM. The tablet can play videos for 5-6 hours at stretch offers a large battery life with a 3400 mAH battery.
3D LIFE also boasts of a 2MP front camera that supports video calling and it is priced at a stunning Rs 5,999.
SWIPE Telecom also launched another ‘first-of-its-kind’ tabX78 Float series targeted towards executives and business professionals which isIndia’s slimmest and lightest Tablet weighing 295 gramswith 8.5 mm thickness. The unique thing about X78 besides other factor is that it has Hindi Language Support.
The third innovation is tabX74S– HALO series, a7” smartphone Tablet with SIM functionality for calling and browsing internet, a touch screen with 5-point touch that runs on Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), a superfast 1 GB DDR III RAM, 4 GB inbuilt memorywith front and back shooters and Bluetooth at just Rs 8,999.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Shripal Gandhi, Founder and CEO, SWIPE Telecom, said: “We are glad to introduce cutting-edge products for the Indian market. India is fast approaching the 1 million per anum tablet sales with current size estimated at $ 400 million (Rs. 2200 crore). The market for Tablets is poised to explode to the extent that 1 million Tablets that got sold in a year will be sold every month in the next 3-5 years.”

The range of SWIPE Telecom’s Tablets are available at a click of a button on India’s leading online stores such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, eBay and Ncarry. SWIPE Telecom envisions 25000+ retail outlets across India where the products will be available soon. Besides, SWIPE Telecom’s 600+ service centers network across India will provide round-the-clock call center support for general and technical enquiry.
