Zones reflect industry needs The fair continues to maximise opportunities for all traders by creating specialist exhibition zones, including Advertising Lighting (NEW), Commercial Lighting, Hall of Aurora, Household Lighting, LED and Green Lighting, Lighting Accessories, Parts & Components, Lighting Management, Design and Technology, and Outdoor Lighting.
The industry trend in recent years has been towards energy conservation and environmentally-friendly lighting., LED display panels, including those outwall advertising screens, are getting more popular, because of their energy saving and high resolution characteristics.
The fair is introducing a brand new Advertising Lighting Zone to gather all exhibitors specialized in advertising. It is more convenient for visitors to reach the products they need. The zone captures LED display panels, light boxes and neon sign, etc.
In order to satisfy he industry need, the fair once again highlights its LED and Green Lighting zone, which is expected to bring together over 760 exhibitors to showcase their latest innovations in the field.
The Hall of Aurora also returns to the spotlight, showcasing over 300 quality brands from 27 countries and regions. Well-known names such as ASFOUR, BJB, Citizen, CREE, EGLO, EVERLIGHT, Fulham, Fumagalli, MEGAMAN, Neo-Neon, OPTILED, Philips, Seoul Semiconductor, Viri Bright and Vossloh-Schwabe have already committed to joining the Hall of Aurora.
In recent years, overseas importers and distributors tend to make smaller-sized orders with higher frequency and shorter delivery lead times in order to minimize inventory. In order to provide business opportunities to this kind of sellers and buyers, the 'Small-Order Zone' will be set up this year to showcase products meant for ordering in small quantities of 50-1,000 pieces.
HKTDC's data indicated that the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), Hong Kong Houseware Fair and Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair this year together succeeded in luring more than 50,000 buyers into visiting this zone and generated over 30,000 business connections.
