AOC TV Eyes 5 Per Cent Market Share In LED TVs By 2012!

The brand has an entire range of LED TVs in different sizes varying between 22-inch and 42-inch, it also plans to launch its 3D TVs in first quarter of 2013.

LED TVs have become the latest fad these days. This segment seems to be shifting away the LCD TVs from the market and are expected to rule the television segment very soon. There are plenty of brands like – Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, etc, that have their own range of LED TVs in the Indian market. AOC TVs is the latest brand to join the bandwagon now. It recently announced its whole new range of LED TVs, which is already available in the market and it also showcased a 3D TV which will hit the Indian market by October this year.
The firm is looking forward to establish its products in India as mid range products that will cater to not only the high class segment but also to the mid-end and low-end classes. The AOC TV range is priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 40,000. We spoke to Seema T Bhatnagar, director- TV, AOC India, to know more about the strategies that the firm plans to follow to make its place in the market among all the major brands.
