After being available for pre-order at online shopping portal, Snapdeal.com, the company has officially launched Micromax Funbook Pro.

Micromax entered the tablet market in April with the launch of 17.8-cm (7-inch) Funbook. The company touts that the tablet did pretty well with the sales of over 1.4 million pieces in around 100 days. The company aims to repeat the same success with Micromax Funbook Pro as well.

The 25.4-cm (10-inch) tablet features a capacitive multi-touch screen and runs Google Android 4.0. The tablet is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor and has 5600mAh battery.

Speaking to EFYTimes.com, Deepak Malhotra, chief executive officer, Micromax Informatics Limited, said, “We have not made any major changes in our new offering. It offers all the features of the previous device but with a bigger screen size and more content. Micromax continues its partnership with content providers like Everonn, Pearson and Vriti for this tablet as well. We have now added McGraw Hill as the new content provider to create a brand new experience of digital learning.”
