The smartphone will compete with Micromax's Canvas 2, Zync Z5 and other wide array of big screen devices available in the market.

Thursday, December 27, 2012: Karbonn, India's well known mobile devices and tablet PC maker has officially launched its A30 Ta Fone smartphone in the market. The phone is dubbed as one of the biggest smartphones available in the country. Earlier the device was spotted online .

Taking a look at the device, the A30 runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and sports 15-cm (5.9-inch) display, which is big, if not the biggest display screen device available in India. The device is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. A30 is reported to sport an 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front shooter along with features like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. The smartphone is backed up by a 2,500 mAh battery.

While the phone will be available at stores for Rs 12,990, you can buy the same Karbonn A30 Ta Fone smartphone online for Rs 11,900. We are eagerly waiting to get our hands on this device.
