Monday, October 15, 2007:  Ranal Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, a value-added solution provider and technology software distribution network in India, has signed an MoU with PSG College of Technology. As per the MoU, Ranal and PSG together will set up a Centre of Excellence at PSG campus to study and practice Program Management amongst the student community. Students would also be trained on Ranal’s program management tool -- CAMeLEAN.
According to Rameshchandra, managing director, Ranal, India operations, “The PSG-RANAL Center of Excellence for Program Management would act as evangelist for providing trained engineering managers for the growing Indian manufacturing and IT industry; we will ensure this with industry interactions and case study knowledge to students. PSG comes with right mix of well-qualified faculty and bright students; RANAL’s industry expertise would gel with it to make it a win-win partnership.”

“Students of PSG would also be trained on CAMeLEAN, Ranal’s program management tool. CAMeLEAN is an enterprise class role-based program management solution that helps organisations collaborate and communicate across projects, time zones and geographies -- with the ability to monitor them from a single point. CAMeLEAN offers a rich toolset that enables alignment of projects execution with corporate objectives,” added Rameshchandra.

Said C. R. Swaminathan, CEO, PSG Group of Institution, “We have tie-ups with several engineering industries to train their executives. It is always a win-win situation. We understand the need for R&D and as a result, we have established several centres of excellence which could be used by the students and industry personnel. In this context, we now join hands with RANAL, Bengaluru to establish PSG-RANAL Centre of Excellence in Program Management.”
