With its ERP implementation, a single database will be utilised by all in NHPC, individually and collectively to achieve its business goal. In order to effectively support ERP solution, a data centre will be developed soon. On-line business environment within the organisation will enable timely and strategic decision making accessible from all the project locations which would help the hydropower major to become a power sector conglomerate, the company said.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr Chandan Chowdhury, CEO, IFS India, shared, "IFS ERP solution has been adopted by many leading energy players worldwide. IFS ERP implementation will enable NHPC to cut across departmental boundaries and adopt best business practices to increase competitiveness."
