Wednesday, January 09, 2008:  BenQ, a digital network devices company, has launched a new range of digital projectors in India. The projectors include BenQ MP620c, designed for educational institutes, and BenQ MP612c and MP622c, which are targeted at the industrial sector.
The BenQ MP620c projector comes with a Blackboard mode that allows the output to be displayed on blackboards. The projector also features a 24 dB sound level for zero distraction, a 16.7 million colour palette, a 1024x768 XGA resolution, a contrast ratio of 700:1, brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens and golden ratio colour wheel which balances true colour saturation and maximises colour accuracy for a crystal-clear image reproduction. It is also Macintosh and HDTV (480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i) compatible.

The new BenQ MP612c and MP622c projectors feature a 16.7 million colour palette, a brightness of 2200 ANSI lumens, SVGA native resolution (XGA resolution for MP622c), a contrast ratio of 2000:1, a native aspect ratio of 4:3 that can be extended up to 16:9 and 26 dB sound. These projectors use TI's BrilliantColor technology, 3D colour management and wall colour correction technique. The cooling feature allows these projectors to cool fast even after long usage hours.

According to Ish Bawa, marcom head, BenQ India, "The new range of projectors targets various consumer segments and keeps in mind their respective requirements. All our products are designed and developed after a comprehensive analysis of the consumer needs."

The new range is priced at Rs 40,000 onwards (excl. taxes) and will be available at Benq IT Zones and also through BenQ dealers.
