The Gartner study analyses the performance of clinical study automation and management application vendors that meet the criteria of at least $10 million annual sales revenue.

Thursday, March 20, 2008:  Oracle Life Sciences applications has received a 'Positive' rating in Gartner's 'MarketScope for Life Science Clinical Study Automation and Management Applications, 2007'. The study analyses the recent performance of clinical study automation and management application vendors that meet the inclusion criteria of at least $10 million annual sales revenue.
The Gartner's report has been evaluated on the basis of product scope, functionality, customer experience, market, geographic, and product strategy, and company viability.

"Oracle offers an integrated suite of applications for clinical development, which provide a combination of broad coverage and deep functionality – offering unmatched benefits in clinical data and clinical trial management," Neil de Crescenzo, group vice president, healthcare and life sciences, Oracle.

Oracle's suite of applications and infrastructure software for clinical development, includes Oracle Clinical, Oracle Remote Data Capture (RDC), Oracle Adverse Event Reporting System (AERS), Oracle Thesaurus Management System, Siebel Clinical Trial Management System and Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub.
