The signatories of the MoU are Takashi Totsuka, deputy managing director, Renesas Technology Singapore Pte Ltd, and Air Commodore (Retd) PD Badoni, consultant and technical head, EFY Enterprises Pvt Ltd.
The MoU signing ceremony embarks upon a mission to establish 'Hands-on Training' -- an education programme on Renesas Microcontroller to be offered by EFY to engineers, students and all such interested individuals and entities in India. The aim of the programme is to improve engineers’ technical proficiency on Renesas Microcontroller on embedded system design efficiency for the industry in India.
EFY plans to establish 100 training centres across India in four main regions namely northern region, southern region, western region, and east and central region. The needs arise from the strong request and demand of the industries as well as the institutions to provide a real 'Hands-on Learning' skills so that the students and the young engineers will be able to apply on their job immediately upon graduation from the university or any tertiary institution. The training programme also enables the new recruits to the enterprises to kick-start their development work promptly.
EFY is currently in the midst of recruiting trainers from all around India and establishing a set of teaching standard for the coming programme. The programme shall start progressively from a region to another from April 2008 onwards. |
