Autodesk has announced the availability of the Autodesk Inventor Plastic Features Technology Preview on Autodesk Labs. This preview version of Autodesk Inventor software — the foundation of the Autodesk solution for digital prototyping — showcases new technology that simplifies the design of plastic products by allowing designers and engineers to automatically create thin-walled plastic parts and features such as grills, rests, bosses, snaps, lips, grooves and fillets.
