“The projectors can be controlled using the Virtual Remote function; not just by using the remote control unit, but also directly from a PC using the VGA cable. With their array of automatic functions, control of the devices is particularly easy and user-friendly,” says Sanjay Dhuria, country head, multimedia products group, NEC India Pvt Ltd.
The NP projectors feature built-in Eco modes for a long lamp lifetime and energy-efficient operation, weigh 2.9 kg (each) and have been particularly designed for routine use. The projectors specially cater to the need of small-medium enterprise or education/training institutes.
“Cost-efficiency is always an important aspect within the education sector, but smaller and medium-sized enterprises also attach great importance to a low TCO. Hence, NEC Display Solutions has introduced particular features into the new all-rounder NP projector series that save energy and reduce operating costs,” adds Rajiv Bhalla, country head, marketing, NEC India Pvt Ltd.
With brightness of 2,600 (NEC NP400), 3,000 (NP500) and 3,500 (NEC NP600) ANSI lumens, the projectors are well-equipped for operation in teaching and meeting rooms with high-ambient light levels. The Auto Input function allows the projector to automatically recognise the connected signal source, while Auto Power On allows the device to automatically switch itself on. The NEC NP400, NP500 and NP600 have also been equipped with 7 W loudspeakers.
The projectors have been equipped with a Kensington lock connector and can also be password-protected. The projectors also have a security bar that allows a cable to be attached to them, so as to safeguard against theft. |
